The Baltic logistics and manufacturing gateway

Lithuania, the largest of the Baltic states and an EU and eurozone member, has grown into a regional hub for transport, logistics and manufacturing. Strong export industries, the busy Baltic seaport of Klaipėda and one of Europe's largest road-freight sectors generate steady demand for workers that a small, ageing population cannot meet on its own.

Transport and logistics lead the way, supported by manufacturing and a solid construction sector. For Pakistani workers, a Lithuanian job offers well-regulated employment and, because the country adopted the euro in 2015 and sits inside the Schengen area, a convenient base within the EU.

Falisha Manpower sources, screens and trade-tests candidates in Pakistan and mobilises them for Lithuanian hauliers, factories, warehouses and contractors, handling the documentation from our offices right through to arrival.

Drivers, operators and production staff

The transport sector is a standout source of demand, recruiting professional lorry and delivery drivers and the warehouse, forklift and logistics staff that keep freight moving through the ports and distribution centres. Qualified, experienced drivers are especially sought after.

Manufacturing takes production and assembly workers, machine and CNC operators, welders and metal fabricators and maintenance technicians, while construction needs masons, carpenters, steel fixers, electricians, plumbers and general site labour. We match each candidate to the role and confirm skills through a trade test before selection. Factory roles often run on shifts, and construction demand holds up through the building season, so openings span much of the year.

Vilnius, Kaunas and the port of Klaipėda

Our placements centre on Vilnius, the capital and its growing industrial and service base; Kaunas, the second city at the heart of the country's logistics and manufacturing zones; and Klaipėda, the ice-free Baltic seaport that anchors Lithuania's transport and freight economy.

Sourcing, screening and documentation are run from our Rawalpindi head office and branches in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, so a Lithuanian employer has one organised partner handling everything from selection to arrival.

National visa and work-permit route

Lithuania runs an employer-led route. The Lithuanian employer secures the work permit or labour-market approval for the role, and the worker obtains a national (type D) long-stay visa and a temporary residence permit for employment, tied to the specific job.

The medical and Protector of Emigrants clearance are finished in Pakistan before travel, and Falisha prepares the attestation and visa paperwork and arranges the journey, so permit, visa and flight stay in step from offer to boarding.

Pay, contracts and worker protection

As an EU member, Lithuania sets a statutory minimum wage and requires written employment contracts covering pay, working hours and leave, with social-insurance registration and the labour protections standard across the Union. A Lithuanian posting therefore comes with documented, enforceable terms.

We place workers only on clear contracts and go through the terms before departure, so both employer and worker begin from the same understanding of pay and conditions. Bonuses, overtime and any employer-provided housing are itemised in writing, so the full package is understood before departure.

For Pakistani candidates — what to expect

For a Lithuanian role you will generally need a valid passport, trade or education certificates, experience letters and a clean medical, and most skilled positions include a trade test so your ability is verified before selection; professional driving roles require the appropriate licences and experience. Once an employer confirms you, we arrange the permit, the national visa and your Protector of Emigrants clearance and book your travel.

On arrival you complete your residence permit and your employer typically assists with initial accommodation as set out in the contract. We brief each worker before departure and, as BEOE and Protector of Emigrants rules demand, we never charge the workers we deploy any unlawful fee.

Spotlight: transport and logistics

Transport and logistics are Lithuania's signature sector and the sharpest source of its demand for overseas workers. The country punches far above its size in international road haulage, and the port of Klaipėda handles a large share of Baltic cargo, so freight, warehousing and distribution never stop needing manpower.

We supply the drivers this sector runs on — professional lorry, container and delivery drivers with the right licences and experience — along with the forklift operators, warehouse staff, pickers and logistics coordinators that depots and distribution centres depend on. Driving candidates are checked for licences and experience before selection.

The same export-driven economy keeps manufacturing and construction hiring, adding production operators, trades and site staff. Whether a haulier needs experienced drivers or a factory needs a production intake, we source, screen and mobilise reliably and keep the employer informed at every stage. As a small country handling an outsized share of EU road freight, Lithuania keeps generating transport openings well beyond what its own workforce can fill.
